SubChapter 7. Special Purpose and Overlay Districts

§ 35.7.2. General Standards.

The Special Purpose and Overlay Districts established in this Subchapter operate by establishing Design Standards to effectuate the purpose of the district. In the event of a conflict between the underlying zoning designation and the Special Purpose and Overlay Districts, the provisions of the Special Purpose and Overlay Districts shall apply.

Land lying within a Special Purpose or Overlay District shall remain part of the underlying zoning designation established by other provisions of Subchapter 5, and may, in addition, lie in one or more overlay districts in accordance with the designation of each.
