Division 1. GENERALLY |
§ 16-74. Prohibited conduct.
It shall be unlawful for a person engaged in soliciting under this article to:
(1)
Misrepresent the purpose of the solicitation;
(2)
Continue efforts to solicit from an individual once that individual informs the solicitor that he does not wish to make a purchase from that solicitor;
(3)
Represent the issuance of any permit under this article as an endorsement or recommendation of the solicitation;
(4)
Fail to carry a valid driver's license or identification card issued by the State of Texas or the state in which the defendant resides;
(5)
Solicit operators or passengers in or on a motor vehicle on any public street.
