§ 14-112. Health officer inspections.

  • The health officer is authorized to conduct such inspections as he deems necessary to ensure compliance with:

    (1)

    All provisions of this article and of the Denton City Code relating to swimming pools;

    (2)

    All provisions of article VI "Swimming Pool Code" of chapter 28 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas that relate to the maintenance and operation of pools;

    (3)

    All provisions of Texas Administrative Code, title 25 "Health Services" part 1; Texas Department of Health, chapter 337 (Design Standards for Public Swimming Pool Construction), as amended, that relate to the maintenance and operation of pools;

    (4)

    All provisions of V.T.C.A., Health and Safety Code, title 5; Sanitation and Environmental Quality, subtitle A.; Sanitation, chapter 341 (Minimum Standards of Sanitation and Health Protection), as amended;

    (5)

    All provisions of V.T.C.A., Health and Safety Code, title 9; Safety, subtitle A.; Public Safety, chapter 757 (Pool Yard Enclosures), as amended.

    and shall have the right of entry at any reasonable hour to the public or semipublic pool for this purpose.

    If same be necessary, Chapters 337, 341 and 757 referenced above are hereby adopted and incorporated herein as if copied in full herein. In case of conflict between paragraphs (1)—(5) of this section, the more restrictive regulation shall apply.
