§ 10-63. License card; sealing machines to prevent operation.
(a)
The city tax assessor and collector shall, upon the payment of the occupation tax provided in this division, issue a license card for each coin-operated machine for which the tax is paid, which card shall show the number of the occupation tax receipt and the classification of such coin-operated machine.
(b)
If any person shall fail or refuse to pay any occupation tax due on any coin-operated machine or shall fail or refuse to have the license card for such coin-operated machine attached thereto where it can be easily seen, the city assessor and collector shall have the right to place a seal on such coin-operated machine in order to prevent the use thereof until the occupation tax has been paid or until the license card therefor has been properly attached to the coin-operated machine.
